At Parkwood Master Builder, we are thrilled to have celebrated 30 Years of Building. Over the last three decades, we have prided ourselves in getting to know each of our homeowners, so that we can deliver a personalized touch to transform all of our houses into dream homes.
Founded in 1989, we are a local, family-run business that has always strived to improve people’s lives by building homes personalized for each individual family. In the early years, our focus was on building customized starter homes and multi-family projects, with an emphasis on quality and service. We were also one of the first four builders in Alberta to achieve Master Builder status. This dedication and leadership has resulted in the achievement of multiple Edmonton and Alberta Awards of Excellence distinctions for both multi and single-family housing.
Yet, our presence in the community has not been limited to home building. With the generous assistance and support of our trades, employees and business associates, we are delighted to have participated in many charitable causes. Over the last 6 years alone, we are proud to have raised over $500,000, with all proceeds going towards the University Hospital Foundation Brain Trust Campaign, Kids with Cancer and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JRDF).

Samir Hanna – CEO
Samir founded and started Parkwood Master Builder after working in the homebuilding industry and saw the need for homes that were personalized for an individual or family at an attainable price point.
His vision has led Parkwood to building everything from single-family homes to a variety of large multi-family condo projects. His involvement in the community has also been seen through his support of multiple charitable initiatives and dedication to industry boards.
Over the last few years, Samir has handed over reigns over to his son, Daniel Hanna, but with his civil engineering background still remains actively involved in the new home designs and the strategic planning of the company.
Dan Hanna – President
Dan became president of Parkwood Master Builder in 2012 after working over 10 years for Parkwood. Raised in the industry, Dan carries forward his father’s legacy of building personalized homes and is involved in the construction of every Parkwood home, ensuring every detail meets our clients’ expectations.
Dan is currently on the board of directors for the University Hospital Foundation, a lead on a builder’s alliance group developing best building practices for single-family homes, and raising his own family of hopefully future Parkwood leaders.
